Curriculum Committee Setting Method :

1. In accordance with the “Regulations for the Establishment of the Curriculum Committee of the Faculty of Medicine, National Yangming Jiaotong University” and the “Regulations for the Establishment of the Curriculum Committee of the School of Life Sciences, National Yangming Jiaotong University”, the undergraduate/institution curriculum committee is set up, hereinafter referred to as this committee.

2. The committee should meet the needs of undergraduates, and its main duties are:

  • Review the curriculum planning and content of the undergraduate institute, including the required (optional) subjects and credit credits of the institute.
  • In response to the development of the department, the teaching resources, teachers and courses of the general department are integrated.
  • Regularly review and revise course-related matters and coordinate cross-departmental course revisions.
  • To formulate the rules and regulations of the institute, and to discuss the relevant course matters at the third-level academic conference.
  • Responsible for teaching evaluation.


3. The committee is composed of the director and six to seven members:

  • The director is an ex officio member who serves as the chairman and presides over the meeting.
  • The other committee members are composed of four members selected by the institute meeting from the full-time professors, associate professors and assistant professors of the undergraduate institute.
  • Two student representatives (substitute and deputy)
    Members serve a one-year term and may be re-elected.
  • The list of members should be reported to the Academy for reference every academic year, and the same applies for changes.

4. The Committee shall invite relevant personnel to attend or provide information as necessary for reference.

5. The committee may set up curriculum planning groups in different professional fields to meet the needs of future undergraduate development and integration planning courses.

6. The committee meets at least once every semester. The director serves as the chairman and presides over the meeting. Graduate representatives can attend the committee meeting as non-voting delegates. When necessary, an extraordinary meeting may be convened by the chairman.

7. This method will be sent to the Curriculum Committee for deliberation step by step and submitted to the Academic Affairs Conference for approval before implementation, and the same is true for amendments.
