研究方向 

  1. 胸腺巨噬細胞:胸腺中的巨噬細胞以其強大的吞噬能力而聞名,但我們對這些細胞的了解仍相當零碎。我們已經確立,胸腺巨噬細胞並非單一族群,而是由兩種不同的族群所組成,且在定位與起源上各有差異。TIM4⁺ 胸腺巨噬細胞位於皮質,來源於胚胎前驅細胞;而 TIM4⁻ 細胞則位於髓質,並在出生後才出現。本研究計畫目前正積極探討的問題包括:
  • 胸腺巨噬細胞是如何維持的?
  • 介白素(干擾素)在胸腺巨噬細胞的發育與功能中扮演什麼角色?
  • 胸腺巨噬細胞是否不僅僅是凋亡細胞的清除者?它們是否也參與 T 細胞的選擇過程?
  1. 硫酸乙醯肝素(Heparan sulfate, HS)與肝素(Heparin):免疫反應是一個高度組織化、動態且具區隔性的過程,需要不同細胞類型之間精心協調的互動。糖胺聚醣 HS 能夠與許多分泌的訊號分子結合,並參與細胞間的溝通。我們希望了解 HS 在免疫系統中的角色,以及其結構變異如何導致與多種關鍵訊號分子的選擇性互動。我們發現,在免疫器官中表現最高水平 HS 的細胞是成纖維細胞,並且我們已建立能夠在胸腺與其他免疫器官中基因性去除 HS 產生的工具。我們的研究已經確定 HS 在胸腺生長中具有重要作用,而其近親肝素則在肥大細胞的顆粒生成中是必需的。本計畫目前的研究方向包括:
  2. 解析不同 HS 結構在淋巴結白血球遷移中的重要性
  3. 缺乏顆粒的肥大細胞如何發揮功能?
