實驗室介紹
- We established several TREM gene deficient mouse models to investigate the role of TREM in the immunity against Klebsiella pneumoniae oral-infection, especially involves the intestinal barrier against bacteria translocation.
- We study the role of TREM members in the aseptic inflammation in kidneys by using UUO mouse CKD model. Intriguingly, we found that TREM1 is crucial for the pathogenesis of UUO-mediated nephritis, mainly through the contribution of TREM1 to the inflammatory macrophage polarization. By contrast, TREM2 play roles in negative modulating Th17-mediated responses in kidney inflammation upon UUO.
- We examine the role of TREM2 in the pathogenesis of Aβ-stimulated neuroinflammation in J20 transgenic animal model. TREM2 mediates Aβ-triggered iNOS and NO induction, further involving in regulating Aβ deposition and clearance in microglia.
- We examine the role of TREM1 in DSS-mediated inflammatory bowel disease model. TREM1 deficiency leads to an imbalance between cytokines produced by innate lymphoid cell (ILC)-3 (IL-17 and IL-22) and those by ILC-2 (IL-33 and IL-13), suggesting a crucial role of TREM1 in modulating the colon intestinal barrier and ILC functions.
- A reporter mice model is constructed and established in our group to monitor the Kinect of M1/M2 polarization and in vivo depletion of specific M1/M2 cells.
